Due to lack of interest by the membership base here, I have permanently closed the IRC chan and disabled the chat function here on AnimeGirlDesp.com.

Sorry to all those who participated but there just was not any interest in it that I could see.   

Does closing the IRC chan leave room for other things?

No, the IRC chan wasn't located on this site; it was just a java applet-sorta thing that would connect to the rizon server. Rizon provides a place to talk and it's totally free.

There's no space gained/lost by such a thing.
