Just a quick announcement to remind everyone who uses the galleries to please make sure you're posting your images in the correct categories.

While errors are bound to happen now and then, the mods can't be expected to spend all of their time refiling posts to where they're supposed to be.

For chronic offenders, the process is going to be as follows:

1) First warning, a PM will be sent. Consider this an official "Strike 1".
2) Second warning, a temporary loss of access to the image galleries will be issued. The duration of the loss will be 1 week.
3) Third warning, you will lose access to the image galleries for a period of time until the mods feel that you should be allowed back in. My recommendation would be 2 weeks to a month.

This being said, just using a little common sense and reading the descriptions of the various image categories will ensure that you have no problems.

Happy posting!

I would just like to get to see the images again - I'm about ready to give up, I have enough frustration at work :S

The other issue I have is the massive amount of reposts I've seen in recent weeks :O Is there any way we can monitor this more?

I used to delete duplicates, but that was back when we had around 1000 images. Sadly, i have no idea which ones are duplicates anymore because there's so many. The recent flood of pics doesn't help either. *cough*

The forum software doesn't scan for this, so the only thing you can do is report images to me or Star. :S
On the internet you're only as smrt as your spell checker.

I'm going to make some suggestions in the near future that will help deal with duplicate posts. With our current image gallery software, it's basically impossible to monitor properly, so there MIGHT be an upgrade coming in the near future. Maybe.
