Not auto logging in and error page after every login

I've been having this problem for a while now.

When I log into this site the check box to auto log in on return is selected yet every time I navigate away from this site and come back to it I am required to log in again.

On top of that every time I log in it gives me an error page, I hit the back button and relog in again and it works properly.

A bit of an annoyance but if it's something that can be fixed (somehow or other) Then that would be great ^_^

just uncheck the box, it never worked

Actually I found it to be an odd error... It doesn't do it anymore but when it was doing it I could click on the forums link and I would be logged in... Such an unusual glitch O.o

The most common cause of this error is bad cookies. Clear any cookies you might have from this site and try again - that fixes the problem 99% of the time.
