Well, then, I suppose I should introduce myself.

I'm a college student hailing from the northeastern reaches of the United States, and I enjoy more than my fair share of anime, as well as desperation.  My age should be irrelevant, and I like to engage in a spot of roleplaying from time to time.

Beyond that, I should think that much of my character should be revealed through my posts, though it may not be such a poor idea to identify where my username originates.  It is shamelessly lifted from a character from Dracula, though modern audiences may be more familiar with her appearances in the excellent graphic novel series, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
I highly recommend both works, as they are quite good, though it may be wise to avoid the film incarnation of the latter.

I look forward to meeting you all, and hope that we enjoy good times together.
tl;dr I think Mina's a pretty cool gal.  esh likes dorky stuff and doesn't afraid of anything.
