Okay....I hate it.
Reasons:
1. Everytime I try to navigate anywhere...it takes thirty plus seconds to load up. And I can't use any other tab on my list until it loads. It never did that originally.
2. I don't even know how to upload images now.
3. The picture bin is all fucked up. I don't know how to find the images I want now; and it's all out of order how it was originally.
4. I cannot reach the site directly now. I have to go to google and type the link in there now.
5. The homepage idea is fail.
Any chance we can go to the original format? ANd Anyone else have complaints similar to me?
My responses to your problems (just as a second opinion I guess)
1. Get a better internet connection? That doesn't happen for me, and its basically as fast as the old site
2. Try the picture posting section? Its exactly what it says on the tin.
3. The gallery does have strange image names and no tags on images, I agree, but it'd need someone to sort them out, and that'd be a mammoth task.
4. Save the site in your favourites, then you can just click and it'll load. Or get Google Chrome, it'll pre-empt your typing.
5. If by the homepage idea you mean the 'You must be 18+ to enter', I think we need that legally.
Anyway, thats what I think.

There is nothing I can do to fix that, particularly since it doesn't seem to happen to everyone and that it seems to be more a problem on your end (connection or whatever) than anything.

You're probably trying to upload them to the gallery which is a no go. What you want to do is go to the board you want to post pictures in, start a new post, click additional options and click browse - then just locate the picture on your HD you want to upload and presto!

There was no real order before and now, so I really think this is more a personal problem than anything and not something I can really fix, sorry. :S

Again, nothing I can fix, since no one else has shown to have that problem and it speaks more to your connection than anything.

As JackO alluded to, it protects the site from underage users, something that we need to have to keep this site from being shut down by the U.S. government. So, sorry, but it's here to stay. Deal with it.

Sorry, but as is true of everything from time past, things change and this is the current format. In the future, things may change again, but there is never any going back.

I can tag images with keywords. I think i might start by tagging around 50 or so pics a day. Maybe by summer you'll be able to do a search for something like "dress_wetting bondage" and have all the pics show up.

That overview page you're talking about, Chang, came with the MKPortal. When we decided to upgrade to SMF 2.0, it was no longer compatible so it had to be dropped.

1. Okay well it might be your area, what I really meant was that I;ve not had any problems recently, and no other members have complained of slow connections, so its probably your end.
3. I think Duce is re-uploading a lot of the images with proper titles, and Serika has kindly volunteered to tag images, and I would also be happy to do some tagging, if more helpers are needed.
But yeah, the time comes to upgrade, and there's a lot of positives about this new layout too, so make sure the glass is half-full :P

That probably wouldn't have a single effect; we're talking about A.) internet connection which depends solely on your modem or router, not your computer and B.) it may also have to do with where you are in the world and which dreamhost server your local ISP connects to.
There have been many cases where even *I* could not connect to the site (despite paying for and owning it) simply because one or more of dreamhost's servers weren't working properly.
None of which is anything *I* can fix. :S

On the main page, scroll right down to the bottom, to the users that are online bit...and click where it says "6 Users, 4 Guests (1 Hidden)" or whatever the numbers happen to be. :D
I like this design, but is it possible to turn off the banner at the top? It's pretty NWS, to be honest.
I have two things to say about that:
1. After all the work I had someone put into making that banner, you actually expect me to take it down? Really... you people complain about the silliest things. :S
2. As far as I know, there's no way to take the banner down, but I'm sure someone'll come on and point out a way (probably Serika) :roll:

I like them. I say this new design is a lot better then the old one.
I'm very well aware this site is ad-less, which is one of the reasons I like it so much. Adblock can't tell ads from non-ads, so you could just filter the banner and it'd be gone.

The real question, is do we want it gone? I don't see any reasonable explanation for getting rid of it to be honest.
Adblock works on the side of the user, so if someone doesn't like it, they could get rid of it without affecting the rest of us.
Even thought I'm really new here but I agree about the layout being a little shitty. Well at least this is a nice forum site =D

Well, to be honest, it's kind of unfriendly to people on iPods, iPhones, and (I assume) other mobile devices. I can't use this shoutboard on mine like other ones I've seen. That's a pretty big neg. Also, to be honest, Adblock plus doesn't work to fix the NSFW thing, because public PCs don't have it, and it would be obnoxious to D/L it each time.

Well, I only access the site on computers, so I wouldn't know about iphones or the like.

I never access the site outside my home, so i'm not too bothered about the banner.
So really, from where I access the site, I think its laid out like any other forum, and it works, so I don;t see a problem, really.

First of all, why the hell are you trying to access a *porn/hentai* site on a public computer? What are you, some kind of library computer-user pervert or something? O.o
Secondly, why are you trying to access this site on an iPod? Do you not have access to a regular desktop? As for the "shoutboard", are you talking about the shoutbox? Because this forum isn't a "shoutboard" - it's a forum much like GameFAQs or Flatchan or any number of other forums.
Further, for the NSFW banner, why in the high flying holy hell are you trying to access this site in a place where that would be offensive to people? There is no part of this site that was designed to be SFW. If that's what you want, go back to sites like GameFAQs or places like that.

First of all, accessing an adult website in a college library is more than likely going to get you expelled from college in the first place. Most colleges that I'm aware of do not like such browsing, so I would suggest you *not* browse this site from your college.

Agreed. Although I'm still getting use with this brilliant forum site I think it's not as confusing as the others. The gallery place is a little messy but it's wonderful! It's 1 of the luckiest thing in my life to had found this forum site =D
Only thing I'd suggest would be to change...I believe it's the IRC chat, for whatever reason, I think my cursor automatically ends up there or somewhere else, making it a bit of a hassle to go back with Backspace or scroll with the arrow keys (much easier on laptop than the fiddly scroll strip). Definitely a minor suggestion, but it couldn't hurt to put my two cents in, right?
I kinda like the new design, looks nice. The color scheme withthe starry backround looks a bit odd. Any way to change themes here?
Also i find it hilarious someone was complaing about worksafe. If your looking at fetish stuff while at work, you either have other problems to worry about, or the most laid back and private job ever and I want it.

Don't mind the starry backround, just think the almost default looking colors of the forum look odd with it.

We had a big debate on it a while back, Ora... the consensus was that it would prove this wasn't a child-friendly site so that no one would actually click on the link.
