Title: Crossdressing: Y/N?
Post by: Phatman_Dover on August 31, 2007, 03:06:34 AM
I'm assuming some people can be mature on this subject.

Yes, I do participate in the activity. No, I'm not very good at it, and no, I have no pics. :P

Unfortunate as it is, I can't seem to get the look quite down.

Same here, mainly at home. I dress neutral in public to avoid getting attacked, but some people still assume i'm a woman.

Last time it happened i was having lunch with my mother. It was pretty funny.

Waitress: Are you ladies ready to order?

XD

I don't do it in public because I definitely can't pass off as a woman. I really like my beard, and I plan on keeping it until I get a girlfriend. After that it's the chopping block.

I am interested however in when you first 'discovered' this hobby. Personally I always was around the girls when I was a young lad, and I'd guess it had an impact on my character. Hell I even remember thinking about it when I was in second grade. So it's been a long time fetish of mine I suppose.

I first donned the bra however when I was in middle school and I haven't gone back since. It feels so natural and nice. :P

Most of my friends were girls too when i was really young. I think that caused me to believe i actually was a girl for a time, so i never thought it was strange that i would want to dress like them. Everyone else thought it was plenty strange.

I'm sorry to hear you have trouble passing though. Facial hair is such a pain in the ass. :(

But having someone walk in on you for the first time is the worst. That taught me to always lock the door. Still got caught a few times after that however. :icon_redface:

Another interesting topic. I've got a few thoughs on this one, but I'm not quiete sure how to put them in words.

See, I always wondered: how does it feel to be a girl? And my interest in desperation rose this interest further. How does it feels to be a girl desperate to pee? When I read a fd story I always try to see it from a girl's point of view. And although my sexual orientation is straight, I find it very... I don't know... curious? to dress as a girl and maybe walk around pretending that I'm a girl (I'm not all that masculine at all - despite all my efforts in training room, I'm getting stronger but not any bigger and they can easily mistook me for a girl from behind, especially with my long hair). But my interest is purely theorethical yet - when I think that I must go to the shop and (oh teh noes!) BUY GIRLS CLOTHES... I feel like Hideki from Chobits when he had to buy Chii a pair of panties T.T

If you buy a gift card, many stores will let you use it to order clothes off their websites. It will ask for the card number and pin, and that's it. Getting a brown cardboard box in the mail is less stressful then tossing panties onto the checkout line.

Poor Hideki...

Lisk: I also had that thought myself, and personally I enjoy it. Serika has a point in saying that you could use a gift card; it gets shipped to you with virtually no distinctive marks half the time, like a Victoria's Secret bag. Or if you look old enough, dress in a suit and go in there and try to buy for your 'girlfriend'. :P

Serika: Here's a tough one- what's your favourite clothing item? I personally favor the skirts and dresses.

Gee, that is tough. :sweatdrop:

I think my favorite right now is skirts and blouses, like the kind of outfit a secretary could wear. Dresses are always fun though.

Have you tried wearing heels yet. It's easy enough to walk in them, the only thing to worry about is going down stairs. If the heel catches when there's nothing under the rest of your foot you could trip. When i practiced walking, i could just imagine someone finding me KO'd while wearing a skirt. Fun for them, not for me.

Yeah, I've taken that 'step', so to speak. :P

I've had to run in them once, just to prove to someone that I could. Haha.

Let me just say this:

You two are really weird.

Nah, I jest. I kid because I care.

A man wearing women's clothes has been known to get a cheap laugh.... Heck, Milton Berle did it...  so I guess that'd make it okay in my book.   :p

Okay so, here's something to note.

I shaved my beard off today. Funny enough I look more mature without it. XD

I also shaved mostly everything else! Except lower arms. Man, this is going to be a pain in the butt. :P

I've done some basic stuff (lingerie) but because I'm currently in college I haven't had a chance to fully explore crossdressing.

Ooo, a thread I can get into!
I don't usually openly admit my cross-dressing. I do it as a part of holding and peeing, and the most clothing I've had is panties. I currently use an old pair of shorts cut at the crotch so it's a makeshift (and very cool-looking) miniskirt. Unfortunately I have no panties as of right now since the last pairs have been wrecked from repeated waistline stretching and peeing into them. Plus a swelling bladder always puts a little extra pressure onto that waistband.
I have, however, worn a skirt and panties out 3 or 4 times before. Once was at a party (that I got wasted at - glad no guys took advantage of me, that would have been strange for them in the morning!), twice in COLLEGE (at high school, I'm British so that's age 17/18) - once for xmas and the other as it was a fancy dress day (no panties for those, but on an unrelated day I did wear a thong for 10 minutes - I HATE those with avengence now and forever), and the last was a five miniute walk done the street to freak some friends out.
I now have the dilemma of getting more panties, since I've always had female friends do the buying and I paid for them.
As for shaving, I regularly shave my pubic hair anyway, and have done since my teen years. I've done my legs twice (had a patch waxed once), did my armpits a couple of times too.
Long story short - I've done a lot!
Does any other guys cross-dress and hold/pee, or is that not everyone's thing here?

Feel free to contact me via email :D

I do...then again I've been into this kind of stuff since I was in grade school.

It's kind of like you get to play the role of the girl in all those pictures you see online...It's rather stimulating, to be honest.

More of you guys out there than I thought! Excellent. I've felt sort of alone without anyone besides the 420chan's CD board. And even then they require pics. Like crazy.

Not quite a voyeur myself, or an exhibitionist. Know what I mean?

Anyone here ever try to 'quit' doing it? I have a few times but uh, here I am. So I guess it's part of me. XD

I used to cross-dress a lot when I was little, but nothing much lately.

By the way, Ko-chan has a really decent crossdressing board.

Not 100% for me, but not far. I would say at least 92
I've always pissed in tight clothing, and most of this is girl clothing. The only "non-girl" ones are running clothes such as tights, capri tights and tight shorts which are all "man sized", but yes, it's almost useless to mention it since they can easily be considered as girl clothes. It may be a response to my tight clothing fetish... Well, I really love to wear girls' clothes even if they're nore tight, I even have a very cool black skirt, but actually I never did a complete crossdressing. I sure would love it and... piss in it  but my main fetishes are pants pissing (desperation is very important for me) and wearing tight girl clothes. :gunsmilie:

I beg to differ. Running up stairs in heels is really hard too. I once ran up two flights of steep stairs in 5" heels and a coarset.  :death:

I'm female and I like to crossdress and crossplay. I have small breasts, so the chest is not the problem, but I'm pretty short and have a feminine face...I don't cross dress a lot, but I wear men's ties a lot with skirt suits. I like to look spiffy, like men do.

You may be right, it's still hard, but tripping on the way down hurts worse.

Mmm...Well The time that I tripped going down, I caught the banister (sp?) The steps were stone though and I messed up my foot a little...
Running up was still worse for me...Under the coarset was a yukata and two crinolin skirts... :death:

To make a long story short:

Been a while since I've posted anything on this topic, but thankfully that hiatus is over. :3

So, I found a rather interesting scanlation of a manga called Hourou Musuko (Translated means: The Transient Son). It's about a little 5th grade boy who is very feminine; he is transferred to a new school after moving. He is seated next to a girl who dresses like a boy and is never seen acting girly or anything of the like. And for the rest, you'll have to read it. :3

They only have up to the second to last chapter done on volume four, with seven volumes in total. The website is as follows: http://kotonoha.monkey-pirate.com/ongoing-series/hourou-musuko/

While I am into it to a certain extent (I actually donned a dress for a Halloween day at school once), I only just keep those thoughts in my head because of the whole deal about people getting bashed for this. (And it's not just the whole buying panties deal either!)

Not that I would ever stop anyone from cross-dressing, it's just...  well, when you see Milton Berle in a dress so many times, it kind of loses any sort of appeal.

It's an obsession with an object or ritual- a fetish. If it isn't so much a turn on to you, maybe there's a bit of gender confusion slapped in there (God knows I have a fair share). Not saying become an trap but gender issues are legitimate and real and need to be taken care of. If you're confused in any way, that is.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE CHARLIE:

Lucky lucky. I never get to go out in public, I don't pass very well at all. I'm a very large dood, structure wise. It's not easy to find clothes that fit either, god damn it. Or shoes, for that matter!

What I'd give for one day of androgeny, I tell you. Just one day! But no, I have to be build like a 1967 Bel-Air. What the fuck.

So, long time no type.

On Sunday I'm going to be picking up a pair of breast forms for more believable proportions (I'm a pretty large dude, to say the least). I can barely wait!

Also, on Wednesday of last week, I picked up a couple of bras that actually fit me.

For the other CDer's out there, be forewarned that finding a 40 B is impossible; finding a 38 B is improbable.

Christ, that was a journey...along with those I picked up a couple of pairs of underwear, some socks and some hoisery. New clothes always make me smile. :3

In another crossdress-manga related note, I found this on 4chan that has translations of volumes 5, 6 and 7 of Hourou Musuko. I showed to a friend and we sent it to onemanga and mangafox so it should appear there eventually if you don't want to download the 20+chapters like we did, the good thing is it's mediafire so none of that annoying wait 40 second shit which makes it semi-easy to download the zip files.

I would have to say no on crossdressing, not really a big turn-on for me.

Women crossdressing can be a big turn-on for me, but not so much men. I'm personally androgynous enough that the way I'm addressed pretty much depends on how I'm dressed. If I'm dressed more feminine I'm addressed as a woman, more masculine and people address me as a boy. Until I speak, anyway. The look on their face when they realize their mistake is always kind of funny, especially since I'm never as insulted as they seem to assume I would be.

I cross-dress, though I'm more androgynous then a cross dresser. I don't see it as cross dressing though. The way I see it, I'm putting my clothes on and dressing the way I like to. I mainly blend men's and women's fashions together and why I started, well it was mainly to do with the styles. Female clothing seems to be flashier and more appealing to look at. I love little ribbons, bows and bits of lace here and there. :)

I used to enjoy cross-dressing when I was younger, that sort of faded away though; however, I did cross-dress a couple of times for fun for an ex =) The only part of my body that I think would look strange when cross-dressing would be my legs, perhaps a little masculine XD Otherwise I might do it again. But I certainly don't go out of the way.

Does anyone here, who has cross-dressed, do so in, say, girls jeans? Or always dresses and skirts.... Bras? Stocking? I always enjoyed stockings =)

Just out of curiousity, do you have a back up plan if you got caught for what gender you really are? I mean I would be way too scared to go out because of the fact that I might get backed into a corner and completely outed. :O

I'd like to point out that gender =/= sex. Gender is defined as your internal, hard wired mental state. That's unchangeable. Sex is your outward appearance, defined by male or female by genitals. For example, my gender is predominantly female while I have male parts.

/psychology

A CD should never go out alone for that reason unless they're martial artists. A lot of people hate the LGBT and CD community and are willing to go so far as to kill them. At the very least they'll beat the crap out of you. Go in groups, that way you'll have backup when the times comes.

Never been in a situation like that before, but I've been in a few fights and I can hold my own so if they try some shit I can at least defend myself. If they would rather humiliate me then fuck 'em. Let them be assholes about it and say what they want.

Anyways I usually carry a pocket knife around with me when I go out anywhere(Though it's mainly because I have issues with paranoia in general) and I try harder when possible to carry it with me when I do crossdress in public in case I do run into some of those crazys who will kill someone for something like that. I guess building a home made taser might be a bit more effective so I don't accidentally aim wrong and kill them would be better but meh.

Btw I have a sort of weird question I guess sort of related to what Merchant said a few pages back.
Can you like crossdressing without having to be a transgender? It's just I've always sort of liked it but not in the sort of fetish way others see it as(or not as much, there were a few times) but I've never really considered myself a transvestite before and it's getting me confused.
Sorry for stupid question.
Title: Re: Crossdressing: Y/N?

A transvestite is, to my understanding, someone who merely likes to dress and/or act like the opposite sex. There does not necessarily need to be a sexual component to it, though that is often the case. Transgender people, on the other hand, mentally identify as the opposite gender. They see themselves as having been born in the wrong body, and the fact they they are of the wrong sex leads to a great deal of mental discomfort in most aspects of their lives. One can be a cross-dresser (a transvestite) without necessarily being transgendered.

Basically, nobody can really answer for you whether you are transgendered or just like cross-dressing. You have to decide for yourself whether you're comfortable being male (forgive me if I'm incorrectly assuming that you're a guy), or if you really think you'd be happier living as a full-blown female for the rest of your life. I do want to reassert that you should not feel pressured to identify as transgendered just because you like cross-dressing. People tend to confuse the two, but they are really fundamentally different on a psychological level.

About mixing up men's and women's clothes, I do not see the problem: That ist something I would do, too (if it looks good, of course).
Wearing only women's clothes... nah, not for me, thanks.

Anyway, for one of my LRP-Charakters, I am still looking for a nice kilt (which, in fact, is really close to a skirt) and would wear it on cons ;)

So no definite y/n

I think i would only ever wear the girls panties or diapers, but openly wearing woman's clothes, skirt or significant other would be a little weird for me. Although I have done so at certain anime conventions.

On this subject, my long-distance boyfriend is currently in possession of one of my thongs and a pair of my panties! He enjoys putting them on for self-stimulation and for webcam with me... His bulge in those panties arouses me like hell. He wants to buy himself a red frilly thong, which I support wholly, and he's agreed to a suggestion of buying a skimpy negligee... Ohh, god yes.

See in the angle stated above, i would whole-heartedly applaud and enjoy a little cross-dressing. Int eh comfort of my own home for a significant other! I mean there's nothing wrong there? Amiright? Perfectly fine, and totally sexy!

Wow. That's getting me excited.

Personally I don't mind people crossdressing. I used to think guys wearing womens panties was gross, but now that I think about it, and now that I am away from my parents thinking, I have no problem with it. I have worn skirts before, just not panties.

Just a question for phatman. Why did you want your beard on until you got a girlfriend?
Also, I think crossdressing might be turning into a fetish for me, even though I do it for different reasons.
Or rather, when I do it it's not a fetish, but I like to look at other people doing it. I think I might just be attracted to femmy people.

To put it plainly, retarded fashion choice. I'm older now and god damn that beard was just wrong. It was like mutton chops but worse. I looked like some kind of atypical Irishman with the way the beard grew. No, it's gone now, even though the search continues.

Today for my first time, I've got completely crossdressed. Of course I think I'm going to pee myself in a few hours (or less ?), that's why I dressed like this. Here's a list of what I'm currently wearing :

- pretty much stretch white t shirt (this is a Wii promotional t shirt but it seems to be a female size)
- black coton skirt (not mini skirt, it stops right before the knees)
- shiny black spandex tights with stirrups (those are dance tights), some people call that leggings but it's the same as tights without feet
- black ballet shoes (same as those ones : http://cdn.magasins-paris.com/images/produits/mim-les-halles/ballerines-petits-noeuds-313-X-500.jpg (http://cdn.magasins-paris.com/images/produits/mim-les-halles/ballerines-petits-noeuds-313-X-500.jpg) )

I don't crossdress, but I do like anime crossdressing. A boy crossdressing as a girl, specifically. Its funny to see the reaction of the other characters when they find out he is actually a boy.

Same. I love the reactions. But I would never do it myself. Hasn't even crossed my mind until I saw this thread.
