Well, seeing as how Macy's uses hole punched confetti, and that they wouldn't have access to these documents anyway, this sounds like the work of a disgruntled employee to me. For starters, who the hell puts stuff into the shredder sideways, unless they have a reason for it? Most home-use shredders aren't even wide enough to put the documents in sideways, you would have to cut the document in half and feed both parts in separately.

Looks like that evil Shredder is at it again.
