Nevertheless, not for me.  I've got a hairless pink ape fetish. :)  Nekomimi, even cat tail, I can live with... add body fur, and I start losing interest.

I totally agree with Mydnyght and Kimiko. As long as it's not too furry, i'm okay with that. Even more, I'm a big fan of nekos (really, what could be better than a loli neko maid :)?). Something more furry, I don't know, that depends on many factors, and furry is not the main of them.

I'm not a furry, andI've seen some furry stuff, but it never appealed to me. It just seems sort of silly to me. XD If I found a picture I liked, it would be despite the furryness, not because of it.
Don't mind people who are though.. it's silly to criticise fetishes.

I do like it to some degree, but I have a limited tolerance for it. A lot of furry stuff tends to be bad, but I enjoy the good (Such as the pictures posted a few posts back.)

I still think that it is neat how much crossover potential there is between things like furries and desperation, but then I'm a total perv so maybe I'm biased ^_^

I find it a little silly that 10% furry is not considered furry. It's like the virgin argument. If you like 10% furry then you are furry for someone/something. You don't just pick and choose what's considered furry and what's not based on the "degrees of furriness". If you had even one second of intercourse, sexual/oral/whatnot you are no longer a virgin. If you like catgirls then you are furry for catgirls. I'm just tired of the catgirl =/= furry argument. Does he/she had a part of her body that is animal-like? Furry. The moment he/she has cat ears or even a cat tail she's not human any longer. Is a person constantly wearing animal clothing, a la druidic/shamanistic or is wearing fake ears? Then we have come across a gray area.

Unfortunately, I'm predisposed to despise furries in general, because my previous boyfriend was one, and he turned out to be a creep of extraordinary proportions.

He had a ton of really odd fetishes, which I normally wouldn't care about since I could be considered to have some, but he forced them on me. He kept stuffed animals all round his house, and would tell me how he'd "mate" with them, and how some of them were his "pack females." The last straw was when he wanted me to start calling him "My Alpha" instead of his real name.

The only reason I dated him is because he was a sociopath and I didn't notice it until later on. He acted fine at first, but after about a week, he started letting slip that he was a "furry" and had a "fursona" that liked certain things, and it went downhill from there.

He wound up stalking me about a week after the breakup, and it was... eggh. Anyway, that's what I've been exposed to of the furry fandom, and I -don't- like it.

My personal opinion on the fetish is that everyone is different and I would not crucify anyone for their own personal beliefs. I don't mind a nice neko or a girl with a long tail, but a furry face does not appeal to me - I'm not really an animal person in real life and I guess that would translate here too... hehe...
