So, we know that there are cute girls (anime style, maybe not amazingly beautiful, but with endearing mannerisms and personality), and hot girls (Perfect features, lovely boobs etc.)...
But...which attracts/arouses you more? Or is it a bit of both? I think in general people who watch a lot of anime are much more open to the idea of cute girls, rather than people who set their standards on people who are considered beautiful by others...
Personally, I prefer cute to hot, but what do you think? Lets open this board with a nice debate/conversation. :clap:

In terms of inner appearance, I like girls with cute attitude.

Don't think you got the right definition of tsundere. Tsundere has more to do with personality and actually nothing with the body. A tsundere is a girl who acts cold or distanced towards others, but eventually opens up to others and exhibits warm feelings. Haruhi is a classic tsundere. Hiiragi Kagami is to a degree tsundere though that is debatable. But this has nothing to do with bodies.
For instance, Asahina Mikuru is hot, but has a very cute attitude. But she is far from tsundere, if not the opposite.
Well, like you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't think Mikuru is hot, but rather she is cute physically. So she's not really my taste, but that's just my opinion.
I know what the meaning of tsundere is, but somehow, when anyone mention tsundere, I kept imagining girls like Asuka (EVA) and Cloche (Ar TonelicoII), the kind that have a hot body. Hence I prefer girls like Asuka over Mikuru.
To me, hotness is defined by the girl's physical appearance, and this include having a nice curve, breast size that you desired and a nice ass. Plus, the face, the hair, the type of clothing and the way she walks also determines wether she's hot or just plain beautiful. The attitude doesn't matter, only the physical look does.
I consider hot and beautiful as two different categories. Beauty to me, only affect the face, the hair and most importantly, the attitude. Let me take Persona 3 for example. The red-haired girl, Mitsuru can be considered hot, while Aegis can be considered beautiful.
In other word, cuteness is about making me want to cuddle them, beautiness is about the grace, and hotness is more about the arousal. But hey, that's my opinion. Others might have other ideas.
In the way that you have chosen to define the two, I'm going with the former, for sure. A girl can be hot as hell, but if she lacks a distinct and endearing personality, she is utterly meaningless to me. Well, other than for fucking, of course, but I also don't really like to look at women as mere tools for my enjoyment.

I would have to say cute girls. I fall in love with their personalities rather then their looks.
To me, cute is sexy. "Sexy" is slutty and unfavorable. Cuteness turns me on. Sadly, this can lead to weird, almost semi-pedophilic interests. I love youth, but not "the youth". It's hard to explain. I like girls who are smart, but sometimes act like... well, they are younger than they really are. And some of these girls are really innocent and hate perverted guys. And I have... well, those kind of FATHERLY feelings for them... and I hate hearing their stories of abusive boyfriends and the like- and yet, I know if they were in my arms I'd have a boner in .5 seconds and I'd really have trouble not feeling them up. But I think my own morals could help me to an extent, because a lot of these girls I've felt this way for (all few of them) I do really care about for PROPER reasons and I do respect them. They are not sex toys.

Cute already implies at least some physical attractiveness in my opinion. I definitely care about appearance in a woman. I can't be with a woman who I am not physically attracted to. That said, personality goes a long way in determining whether I actually want to spend time with a woman, or if she is just going to be nice arm candy at a party once in a while.

Neither term correlates well with long-term satisfaction, though. Paris Hilton made the definition of "hot" crystalline for me, even though it is the more vague word. Sensational; the sociological phenomenon of rapid popularity. In other words, irrelevant to the propagation of genes, except in the degree to which your personal tastes are shared by other people. Whereas, cute has a manipulative connotation, meaning that whatever you invest in a relationship (be it genetic material, time, or money) could be in vain.
I'm definitely more into the cute, shy type of girl personally, "hot" generally comes off as slutty to me.

Probably a cross between the two for me. Too cute is more of a "aw she's cute" and be on my way rather than being someone I'd engage in a relationship with.
So for me a little cuteness is fine but too much is a no go. I think I make the attractiveness on a subconscious level. I say this because seeing one of my cousins after she'd lost a significant amount of weight I actually found her to be reasonably attractive.
Personality is a make or break deal for me. Doesn't matter how cute or hot the body if the personality sucks.
I found a recent new hire at my place of employment to be semi attractive and by the end of my first day working with her I knew that I would never even consider dating her.
Whiny bitches who only know how to complain and try to use their feminine wills(?) to gain what they want as well as being half assed when it comes to working are an instant turnoff for me regardless of appearance.
For me it's a combination of cute personality and, uh, hot appearance.
