This sounds like it was ripped right from a House episode.

Seriously, there was an episode in the fifth season where several recipients from the same donor all died of illnesses related to the donated organs.  Who knew life imitated art, huh?

That is incredibly unfortunate. In the hospital's defense though, finding one cancer cell swimming around in a pile of normal cells can be really hard. The way cancer works is absolutely unfair.
